Dr. YU Hiu Yan

Biography

Dr. Yu holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology from Hong Kong Baptist University and a PhD in Biology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her academic research focuses on ecology and evolutionary biology. In 2024, Dr. Yu joined the Office of University General Education as a lecturer, where she is currently teaching the course ‘In Dialogue with Nature’. She hopes to help students develop an appreciation for the natural world and nurture their sense of wonder for science.
