Dr. YE Jia Michelle
Biography
Dr Michelle Jia Ye received her degrees in Translation at CUHK. Before joining GE, she taught translation and interpreting at CUHK. She writes on Chinese transcultural and translingual intellectual history, focusing on the early-twentieth-century periodical press and popular culture. She is a published translator in social science. She is concurrently the Associate Director at CUHK–Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation Asia-Pacific Centre for Chinese Studies and a core member of Research Programme for Lingnan Culture, Institute of Chinese Studies, CUHK.
