報名講座簡介
Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) aspires to nurture students who can help shape the future. This means preparing them to design, implement and contribute to the future generations of social, educational, organisational and financial systems, addressing the global challenges such as the United Nations’ Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) and disruptions caused by rapid technological advancement. To achieve this, HKBU embraces transdisciplinary education to address substantial global problems, fostering collaboration among different faculties and sectors, as well as solution-based learning. It is reforming its undergraduate curriculum by introducing transdisciplinary second majors. HKBU has also incorporated AI into the curriculum, focusing on students’ use of AI to promote social good as a key learning outcome. We are also increasing the adoption of authentic assessment with evaluation and feedback on students’ learning processes rather than just the outcomes. The speaker will outline the challenges in this process and HKBU’s strategies for addressing them, aiming to initiate an in-depth and productive dialogue with the audience.
